These mini wood chips from Maine Grilling Woods work perfectly with your indoor smokers and smoke boxes. Slightly sweet and fruity smoke flavor. Beef, poultry, game birds, pork (particularly ham). The old farms and woodlots of Maine are dotted with the distinctive twisted trunks of wild apple trees. These trees sprout up in old fields and clearings from seeds carried about by birds and other animals. As these fields are reclaimed and the old trees pruned back into production, the local farmers and woodlot owners harvest the apple wood by hand and bring it to the farm a pickup load at a time. This wood produces wonderful smoking chips, chunks and planks. If you have never tried Wild Apple wood, you are in for a treat.
