This cutting ball can be used to make smooth, uniform rounds of all types of fruits and vegetables, from soft honeydews to hard turnips. The cylindrical stainless steel handle is comfortable and easy to turn (important for bulk jobs), and the rim of the head is sharp enough to cut into the hardest potatoes. The 1 1/8” (3-centimeter) cutting head is ideal for seeding a cucumber, scooping melon balls or shaping chilled ganache into chocolate truffles.
