Created by Pfaltzgraff's in-house designer Kathleen McLane, "Napoli" is a subtly decorated, hand-painted collection that evokes the light and colors of the Italian coastline. About Pfaltzgraff: One of the oldest pottery makers in the United States, The Pfaltzgraff Co. was founded in York, Pennsylvania in the year 1811. This once modest-size shop (where salt-glazed stoneware was crafted by hand and sold to local merchants and townspeople) has grown and expanded with hundreds of dinnerware patterns (from traditional to contemporary) gracing the tables of homes all across America. Their new manufacturing plant (located just west of York in Thomasville, PA) hosts tours almost daily.
